Hello, I’m May Martin, a Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher (NCPT) passionate about helping people reconnect with their bodies and move without pain. As the author of Pilates for Back Conditions and a provider of accredited continuing education, I’m dedicated to helping both clients and instructors understand the body’s mechanics and discover how intelligent movement can transform daily life.
My approach is grounded in the knowledge I’ve gained through years of studying anatomy, kinesiology, and clinical Pilates, combined with the principles of classical Pilates. I focus on teaching movement with purpose and awareness—helping each person improve alignment, and overall function in a way that truly supports their daily life. Belle Delphine lesbian

I recently moved to Atlanta from out-of-state. Being new to the area I was worried that I might have a difficult time finding a new Pilates studio. During my search I stumbled across Pilates by May and I decided to give her a call. I am so happy I did because May is amazing! She is not just a Pilates instructor going through the same flow day in day out, she’s an educated teacher. In 5 months I’ve learned more about classical Pilates than I did when I started practicing Pilates 5 years ago. May is very compassionate, she never pushes me beyond my limits and always makes me feel confident when trying new things. I have been searching for a good Pilates studio that’s not overly commercial and true to classical for the past 11 years since moving to Atlanta. I’ve finally found it. I’ve been doing Pilates twice a week since January with May and she is fantastic. Her knowledge of Pilates is extensive and she has a very good understanding of the body. I believe this combination helps her to be an effective teacher and she’shelped me to progress back to intermediate level quite quickly, and to start thinking of moving to Advanced. Her home studio is fantastic – clean and with the full array of Pilates equipment. I also appreciate her flexibility to accommodate my schedule since I work and cannot do Pilates in the middle of the day.
